Should I turn to the Apple store or AT&T store for problems next to my iPhone?

I've had it since it first come out and I bought it from the AT&T store. The screen sometimes doesn't work sometimes and near is a white spot in the middle of the blind too.

Is it better to go to the Apple store or could AT&T backing me too?

But if it's beside the PHONE (which it IS) - then chitchat to APPLE ;);););)
