How long does it hold for a portable TomTom GPS to acquire a signal and dependable is it...?

I'm thinking of getting one.


Answers:    It takes in the region of 5 secounds and its very dependable
first switch on may whip a few mins...after that its quite instant, i can outstandingly recomend sat-navs ...you will never get lost or variety a wrong turn again!!
