Answers: 1) You can purchase the standard battery that comes near the first generation Q, however you may enjoy to wait for a bright door from Sprint. If you are smart about bloodshed tasks and what applications you run all daytime you should be fine with any battery. Some folks are unused to smartphones so they struggle on how to manage the power. It only just takes some time.
2) Review - powerfully I have have the first generation Q for 16 months since it first come out. No real problems. I in fact replaced my Treo after going through three of them that kept restarting on their own. Never buying one of those bricks again. The first thing to twig is that the phone is a smartphone NOT a PPC. So it is not the same as the Treo, BB, or Touch peak Windows Mobile phones. It runs a different version of the operating system. Smartphones include Blackjack, Q, Dash and a few others.
Pros: Size, sync beside outlook, on the go email, Verizon gridiron (for me), ability to customize homescreen (xml), registry edit, alot of third party applications
Cons: Must do admin battery duration, WM menus not great, a few usability items such as copy and paste (coming), threaded article
3) Check www.everythingq.com/forums there are a couple scheduled out there
First stale, you are not going to want to get the smaller mobile... even with the larger battery-operated it will still die quicker than it should, it's poor battery function is widely set.
As far as a pda/smart phone, there are several out here, that are better.. really none that are worse...I had one for in the order of a month, two on the outside, when I finally gave it away and dropped 600.00 on a up to date Treo... I really don't have anything appropriate to say something like the phone, it's really that bad! For instance, it doesn't tweaking time zones when you are traveling, you enjoy to remove the battery to reset it to the framework. Windows OS is a mess to work with. calender is far from unblemished,
Go to everythingQ.com there is a store within if you want to purchase the battery, however, I would advocate you to keep what you enjoy. Also, there's a forum there, not a tremendously articulate bunch of people, but they know adjectives about the Q... and what to do when it stops working.. Which mine did after lone a week! Had to have it replaced!
