Can I clear my own theme to use on my PSP wth Firmware v 3.71?

I have a Sony PSP beside software version 3.71 And I be wonering, can I only use the cokie and classy pink theme or Can I find some or make my own

i hold no idea what the .ptf format is, but thats what your first item to look at should be.
find out about, afterwards once you understand it, you can use a hex editor to expurgate the official theme..
but if you dont know how to hex edit, find out. ive be trying to teach myself it for the longest time, but adjectives i see is 5800 3909 5443 0000 4525 9992 8879 0000... apparently there is supposed to be something surrounded by that.
i get the ground rules, but when ever i try to edit something, it doesnt work.
the rumor is that sony is supposed to be releasing a free program that allows you to net your own icons.. but i find this pretty firm to believe.
