My freeview will simply pick-up BBC channel?

It was ok up until a few days ago - I hold tried re-tuning but no luck.

P.S. other freeview tv in the house is like peas in a pod yet connected to a different arial

Try doing a canal rescan. You need to run into settings or menu, choose channel setup and do a complete rescan replacing adjectives channels
