I hold a friend beside a Direct Tv Plus DVR. Can I transcript his programs onto DVD for him?

This friend doesn't have a DVD recorder, and would approaching some UNLV basketball games recorded, that he have Recorded on his DVR. No Copyright infingement involved!

Answers:    If his DVR is active, you can hook it up at your house (without satellite cables) and see shows that have be recorded contained by his My Playing List. It will say Searching for satellite signal, because it is resourcefully...searching for the satellite that its not hooked up to. :) All you hold to do is press the exit button (on the remote) and then press the List button, and this will bring up the index of shows your friend has record. Youve got it set up the right passageway to your tv. If it will not pull up the my playing roll, you can also press the menu button and select on my playlist and it will also bring up the shows.
Connect your DVD recorder to the S or composite outputs on the DVR. Playback on the DVR and record. Don't forget the audio cable.
