How do i connect a dvd/vcr and tivo to my tv. I am guessing I have need of a converter box?
Answers: Once you have a Digital Video Recorder approaching TiVo, it's a safe guess you'll never account TV shows with you VCR again.
This method you can connect the output of your TiVo to the VCR, and the output of the VCR to your TV. This allows you to watch VCR tape (without affecting the TiVo, which is upstream from the VCR) and, when your VCR is not in operation, the TiVo will intervene through the VCR to your TV.
If your TV is so old that it with the sole purpose has a coax "cable in" input (looks close to your cable-TV connection), you need to use the following connections:
TiVo "RF Out" ==> VCR "RF In"
VCR "RF out" ==> TV input
If your TV have video/audio-L/audio-R connections, using these will give you better picture:
TiVo "Video out" ==> VCR "Video in"
TiVo "Audio out" (L) ==> VCR "Audio in" (L)
TiVo "Audio out" (R) ==> VCR "Audio in" (R)
VCR "Video out" ==> TV "Video in"
VCR "Audio out" (L) ==> TV "Audio in" (L)
VCR "Audio out" (R) ==> TV "Audio in" (R)
If your TV have S-Video connectors, use these instead of the yellow Video connectors for even better picture.
