Is it possible to hook up my computer to my DVR satellite box and download the save items to the tricky drive?

I would like to download the save material contained by my DVR and burn the items to DVD. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it?

Answers:    No. While the connections are there at the posterior of the box, they are disabled.
Hi Nick

Its easier to watch the substance and copy to a stand alone DVD recorder connected to the video and audio outputs of the box. But some people hold figured out hack to get into boxes. Problem is hack the boxes is not in the cable or satellite company contract. If it is your own personal TIVO you might enjoy more luck. And if it is your REPLAY TV you should be able to find associates on the internet to tell you how to share files from that. My people members share files beside Replay TV boxes and burn them for each other.
