About to downgrade from Sky+ to standard Sky. What's the best agency to narrative?
Options I'm aware of:
(a) old fashioned video recorder
(b) DVD recorder
(c) some sort of PVR / thorny drive recorder
(d) I've read rumours that you can still have a Sky+ box running through a standard Sky nurture, but it sounds complex and hard to conduct operations
Things to consider:
- ease of use: my non-techy girlfriend wants to be able to operate it!
- price: preferably no more than lb100 because moving is expensive already!
- feature: prefer well-known brands to cheap supermarket ones

Answers: You can use Sky + with a single nurture. Pause works, you just own to remember that you cannot record one point while you are watching another, so if you set a recording and stir out you have to brand sure the Sky+ is on the same guide. It does start getting complicated if you want to make multiple channel recordings but it can be done. Buy a PVR HD recorder with a freeview tuner and run them side by side.
If near are spare Sky feeds at the system come first end you can use a device call a Stacker which will combine two sky feeds into one cable and split them out again within your living room. Cost lb100 ish, and you have to receive the landlord to tolerate you fit it at the feed expiration. I presume the downgrade is because you only own one cable into the apartment.
Why downgrade your sky plus?? Did you Know that you do not have to salary the extra subscription for the record features. Why not simply downgrade your package to the channel you do watch!!
