I'm interested contained by buying a VCR/DVR combo near a DVD burner?
Answers: Im not sure you are going to find a vhs combined next to a dvr/dvd burner. VHS is pretty much obsolete in a minute. They still sell combos near vhs, but by the time you get to the dvr/dvd burner unit, vhs is not usually included. You can however get dvr/dvd burners and hook your vcr into it.
We hold a rca brand dvr/dvd burner with an 80gig harddrive. We get it one year ago and it cost about 300$. I presume prices have come down a lil, but not sure. Ours works great. We journal whatever we want from tv (unlike our cable provided dvr that have restrictions on ondemand and ppv). Since our unit have a hard drive it stores on the section. There are several different quality settings. On the lowest the element will hold about 200 hours, on the peak it will hold about 50 hours. We can later burn the recordings onto dvd. How much will fit onto one dvd depends on the recorded trait. We can hook our vcr up to it and copy vhs on to the hard drive or a dvd. We can also copy anything to be exact not copyright protected from dvd onto the hard drive. We use our comp for the camcorder, but the component does have the talent to record from the cancorder to the complex drive or dvd if we hook it up through the cables.
I suggest getting one near a hard drive. Without a sturdy drive, anything you want to record have to physically be recorded onto a dvd. You are gonna move about through A LOT of dvds that way. With the strong drive, yu can record, keep under surveillance and erase.
As far as your camcorder, most will have a special input for them. However, as long as you own rca input on the unit, and rca cable that hook into your camcorder, you will be able to do this.
With a concrete drive you can also do the cool stuff like rewind wait and fast forward reg tv.
Hi frtnr,
They are available everywhere. WalMart have several at very flawless prices.
Here is a Magnavox that does a good employment and is only $138 - http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...
You will also find them at Best Buy, Circuit City or anywhere electronics are sold.
To copy your mini DVDs you will connect the composite output of your Camcorder into the composite input of the DVD recorder and copy your mini DVDs.
