On my vcr it has the speed sp and ep.I want to know which one files the longest?

SP = Standard Play - 2 hours - best quality
EP = Extended Play - 4 hours - obedient quality
Some VCRs also hold SLP = Super Long Play - 6 hours - fair element

ep (extended play), sp (short play)
so set it to ep if you want to record for longer.
Short Play
Extended Play
EP is of lower level and therefore plays the longest.
ep annals the longest
