I had Dish Network for 18 months and I be please with them for the service and the pricing but here just this minute, I signed up for the DVR HD package and they come to install my HD receiver and the charge was completely messed up and the subsequent install date was 2 1/2 weeks after that, so I called Direct TV and they said they own more HD channels very soon then Dish (over 100). Im only just wondering if I'm shooting myself in the foot by switching from Dish to Direct? I largely wanting movie packages, I watch sports and I love the HD and DVR. Is this a well brought-up choice? Should I get that warranty that they submission for $5 a month incase anything physical happens to the equipment?
Please confer me advice on both if you have both?
I have the subsequent to last pack also that they are offering the Xtra i think its call.
Answers: I was certainly a Dish customer for several years but recently get married and my husband wanted to switch to DirecTV because they enjoy NFL Sunday ticket. I have have excellent service so far with DirecTV, the singular thing that took some time getting used to, for me at least possible, was how the menu is set up and re-learning what numbers the channel go on.
I signed up for the $5 merely because I had some issues near Dish before, and have to pay a big excise to fix something that went wrong beside the dish. I haven't had to use the insurance next to DirecTV as of yet.
I enjoy no complaints with DirecTV so far!
