I had Dish Network for 18 months and I be please with them for the service and the pricing but here only just, I signed up for the DVR HD package and they come to install my HD receiver and the demand was completely messed up and the subsequent install date was 2 1/2 weeks then, so I called Direct TV and they said they own more HD channels in a minute then Dish (over 100). Im merely wondering if I'm shooting myself in the foot by switching from Dish to Direct? I largely wanting movie packages, I watch sports and I love the HD and DVR. Is this a suitable choice? Should I get that warranty that they submit for $5 a month incase anything physical happens to the equipment?
Please offer me advice on both if you have both?
I have the subsequent to last roll also that they are offering the Xtra i think its call.
Answers: Hi hotncguy18,
I don't think you should put to much freight on one install issue. In the long run it is picture quality, programming option and reliability that will matter to you.
The availability of HD is constantly varying as both providers continue to put in.
Dish does a good profession, has a accurate selection of channel and is a very reliable service. Don't net a hasty decision you might regret subsequently.
