Can I find a DVD/CD player beside a built HDD and tuner that I can attach speakers to?

Answers:    The player/tuner usually has no amp - you call for a separate amplifier to get adequate power to have speakers.

Unless you use one of those small 'computer speaker' sets that hold a small amp - they plug into the mains power. Will be loud plenty to hear in a small or sluggish room.
