How Do I verbs programmes record on my UK Freeview Recorder to a PC?
I wish to verbs them to a PC, edit them to procure rid of adverts afterwards burn them onto DVD.
The problem is that there is no visible way of transfering them surrounded by the first place. The item I need - a head with a scart at one come to an end for the Freeview box and a USB at the other for the PC - seems not to exist. Even Maplin Electronics be unable to assist. Any suggestions?
I also need video editing software for when I get hold of the programmes onto the PC. Any recommendations?
If adjectives else fails, I am reluctantly prepared to burn the unedited programmes onto DVD directly. I don't however own a stand-alone DVD recorder. If I buy one, will it be possible to copy onto DVD the programmes stored in my Freeview recorder od does that one and only work with live TV? If the former, can this lone be done in definite time or at speed? Thanks.
Answers: If you wanted to verbs the video/ audio to your PC then you will probably require some liberal of TV capture card, available from most places (PC World etc), different cards will provide different connectors (ie. composite, S-Video etc), beware though that different cards will support different power video/ audio etc - which could result in reduced competence in your final DVD. Capture cards may come beside basic editing software.
I don't know anything roughly speaking standalone DVD recorders, but I'd believe you could connect your player to the recorder and then history the output of the player onto DVD.
I've seen that Toshiba clear Freeview recorders near both DVD and hard disks. With one of these you could connect your hoary player to it, record an entire program to the tough disk as it plays on the old player. Then you can use the built within editor to cut out the adverts etc, previously burning them to DVD.
