Can you build the toshiba RDXV47, dvd and hdd recorder, region free?
Answers: This is a hack for the Toshiba RDX 24 which MAY work on yours but no guarantees.Up to you if you want to try it.
1: Press 0 button on remote 5 times.
2: Press the instant replay button
3: Press the following sequence of numbers VERY quickly,(Less than 1 sec intervals)
If player is Region 1: Press 2 9 3 3 4 and 9
If player is Region 2: Press 5 7 5 3 8 and 9
Open & close the tray.
Player should immediately be multi region but as I said, I can't guarantee the hack for your particular model, it's up to you.

You can devolution a DVD's region: doubt you can change a DVD player's region to free though
