How do I expurgate out the commercials of a TV show I record onto a DVD-R disc?

I used my DVD Recorder to record a TV show onto a DVD-R disc. How can I very soon edit out the commercials? My computer's DVD-Rom will play the disc, is nearby a program that will allow me to edit the disc, or copy the disc to my rugged drive and edit it from near?

Answers:    Hi Lisa,

You will have to copy it to your rock-hard disk, edit it and afterwards write it to a new DVD. A DVD-R can't be erased or altered after it is record.

If you have a PC you probably hold Windows Movie Maker on your computer. Go to Start, All Programs and open Windows Moviemaker. With it you can verbs the DVD to your hard drive and repress it. Then save the edited profile to DVD. It is not as hard as it sounds.

I use Pinnacle Studio software...It have a bit of a learning curve but you can use and cram it fast.
