Tivo trouble?

i own one of the older boxes, not HD.
but, the guide does not appear, and i know the grounds and everything, i just don't enjoy a phone line to connect it to.

i be wondering if there be a way i could connect it via internet. yes/no?


Answers:    This is possible, but depending on the model it might enjoy to be hacked. Some models will allow you to connect an usb to ethernet adpater and a short time ago work, any model that supports directv must be hacked.
Even you connect it to a computer what the Tivo wishes to do have a software downloaded that will resolve that problem, but the solely way by a phone queue, Why don't you put in a friend house for a light of day or 2. Or try connecting it to the modem phone connection but I don't deliberate it will work it can be only one procession.
