Can any one describe me how to connect set top box into workstation??
in actuality i want record some programmes....
so plz share me the procedure... and wat are all things required?

Answers: You'll need a video invasion board or tuner card. You should make sure that anything card you get supports the input you plan on using. I only started using VisionTek HD 650 and it has be ok so far but do a little comparison to craft sure it will do what you want.
I would also recommend get a remote or an IR repeater to so you computer can alteration the channels on the STB. (Windows Media Center Remote comes beside one of these, but you can probably find one seperate).
