How do I connect and history from a VCR to a PC Laptop?

I have an HP pavilion dv4000 laptop and want to connect a Sanyo VCR player to it to copy my old home movies to dvd.

Answers:    I'm still waiting on my video appropriation dongle from Ebay - they're lb12 to lb20 and work with the RCA lead (red, yellow, white). I assume your laptop have the software although I think these things come beside some Ulead software? Good luck - Had an older book of this before and it worked sensibly well.. hope this exotic one does a better job.
If you enjoy a Maplin store near you, they vend USB>>Scart connectors and software
