Can't take DVR to show and journal premium channel?

My Panasonci DVR/VCR will not show any channels on TV except the 2-13 and CSPAN elemental cable channels. Panasonic customer service stinks. I'd similar to to hire a DVR expert to program it properly in conjunction near my cable box.


Answers:    The cable company has adjectives of the other channels encrypted. There is a chip that decrypts these channel inside of your your cable box. You cannot have your cable going directly into your DVR/VCR. You will hold to run RGB, RCA or SVIDEO out of your cable box into one of your DVR/VCR inputs. Then you should be able to estimation and record these channel.
In the setup mode, make sure that cable is select and it should scan all channel that you subscribe to. Mine is a Sony, but they all vitally work the same. The DVD/VCR Recorder will own to know what channels you hold before it can history to them. I ran into equal problem when I first set mine up. Hope this helps.
