My dvd recorder plays characters speach on some dvds, but only perspective music and commentary on others, for no discernable reason. There are no other problems, picture ect. is fine. It is connected directly to the telly via a scart organize which is inserted correctly.
Answers: are the dvd's pre-recorded? if they're home grown re-code them with the correct audio format, i would recommend Nero as everything is menu-driven.
