How do I hook up a modern sit. box to a dish that be already at my house?

Answers: I wood stir to m& d's--hook it up there'see if it works--I expect it will take a phone phone up to dishnetwork to get ya going--then u know whats up @ a place u know the dish is aimed correctly! If u achieve home & find a problem, then u can shift from there. Go into the menu & find the signal strenth,while @ M&D's too!afterwards find it @ home & you'll no if your pointed rite!
Sounds to me like the dish may be installed but not pointed correctly. Try playing around beside the positioning of the dish.
