Which is Better - DIRECTV ot DISHNETWORK?

I thought I would go beside Directv because they had a well-mannered introductory offer. They be scheduled to install it today between 12 and 4 pm. At 2 pm I call customer service to see if they were still coming today. She said yes, they be scheduled to and she would hold the installer call me near an estimated time. That was 1 1/2 hours ago. It is presently 25 to 4. If they are not here by 4 I am leaving and cancel the service. If this is how directv treats me before I am a customer, I can lone imagine what it will be resembling once they have my money.

Opinions, please?

Answers:    I've never have DirectTV, but I've had DishNetwork for almost 4 years and have pretty good service from them. They come right out and installed everything and got us set up and running inside a few days of my calling for service. Their tech support has be good when I've needed it, but the one time we have some sort of component on the dish malfunction it took them 3 weeks to return with a serviceman to the house. They did give me a drastically reduced rate for that month because we only have half our channel.

My daughter has have both DirectTV and DishNetwork and she prefers DirectTV. I really think it is probably the local service providers that trade name the difference.
No problem here, but here same about dish. DT does enjoy football. Scope it out and if they cannot get a signal contact me. tAke effort.

I'm back. Yes we get the football and i am not sure about the programs, but probably matching. If it rains indisputable hard the picture go out, but the other one does that. Never had a problem calling and get people here surrounded by America, not overseas to help me. Worked most of the probems out. starz is a pretty devout package and doesn't hold the hbo type programs if yo have kids.
DirecTV have horrible customer service and horrible technicians. I've had both DirecTV and Dishnetwork. We switched from Dishnetwork to DirecTV for the NFL Ticket.

DirecTV have better packages, IMO. Its give and bear, I guess...but Dishnetwork will treat you better.
sorry i can't help you. i'm contained by the uk.
