Who uses Hughes-Net for their Internet provider?

i am thinking about getting it when i move at the begining of the year and i want to know how it compares to my internet provider in a minute, high speed cable. pro's or con's anyone?

Answers:    I enjoy never used them but have looked at them for my parents who live contained by the middle of no where. THey are the lone high speed provider contained by their area.

I hold heard from other those that they are indeed fast.. faster than dsl, but not as hasty as cable can be.

HOWEVER, you need to READ THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE watchfully. The last time I looked at them, they have bandwidth limits. I dont remember what the borders were, but they be low enough that a entity could easily travel over the DAILY limit simply by browsing. Then, if you if truth be told go to download/upload ANYTHING, even lately things that are streaming, you will definatly exceed their daily contain,

When I looked last (that be about 2 months ago, btw) once you hit their day by day limit your speed be cut back down to dial up or smaller quantity for 24 hours from the minute you exceeded your bandwidth.

If you MUST have big speed for work, it will suffice, but you will have your speeds cut hindmost significantly a lot of the time because of exceding the bandwidth ends.

According to this, their highest home collection is 425 mg per day. Very uncomplicated to hit if you are sending a lot of files hindmost and forth, streaming a lot of video, or downloading torrents.

Here is their fair policy deed where they put in the picture you they cut back speeds..

With the amount of money you hold to pay for installation, and afterwards their monthly fees, they are NOT worth it unless you MUST have the illustrious speed.
