Why can't I find a DVD combination VCR recorder/players which include a tough disc?

I've been looking for a DVD recorder but would approaching to have facility to copy VCR tape onto DVD. There are plenty of machines which allow you to do this - but all give the impression of being to lack the Hard Disc which is immediately easy to find on purely DVD recorder. This seems strange. Are here any exceptions? Is there some industry agreement not to produce combinations which include a knotty disc?

Answers:    In all honesty, it's not worth bothering.

DVD / VCR combinations are disreputably unreliable for starters. Then, once you have dubbed adjectives your tapes, the VCR fragment becomes redundant.

It's much better to buy a DVD recorder near a built in unyielding drive, then knit your current VCR player to it with a scart cable and dub directly from video to the DVD recorder's hard drive, consequently on to DVD disc.

Once you have transferred adjectives your videos, you can get hold of rid of the VCR.
well we hold one... 160gb HD and cdrw (etc) and weve had it 2yrs... liteon.
