Can you verbs save movies/shows from a DVR to a computer?
Answers: Yes and No. If you hold a computer that has a "Tuner Card" where on earth you can use an "F Connector" (Coax Cable used in hooking up Cable Television or Satellite tube is usually found on a tuner card and you can run the cable from the DVR to the tuner card of your computer)
Or has "RCA Video Input and RCA Audio Input" (yellow video connector, and a red connector for one drain of sound along near a white connector for the other channel of sound). Then newly plug the "composite video" (what they call the three RCA connections surrounded by most DVD player installation instructions and many TV installation materials).
If you do not enjoy either an F Connector or three RCA inputs for video and audio hookup... consequently you can hook up your DVR to your computer. If you have neither, you will requirement to get extra equipment. A "TV Tuner" card, would probably be the easiest, cheapest, and fastest opening to hook it all up. I also muse that there is a USB text of an external "TV Tuner" that is on the flea market (think I saw it at Fry's Electronics when I was later in one of their stores, so they should be available at any through computer supply company)..
Hope this helps,
