Is here a noticable difference playing a hd or blueray movie or a winter sport on a commonplace tv?

Answers:    There is no difference on a regular TV between a regular DVD and a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray disc. In fact, even if you do hold a HDTV, these two are still a waste of money because you can't play a HD-DVD on a Blu-Ray player, or vice-versa.

As for games...both the Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 will look superior compared to their predecessors, even on a regular TV.
What would be the point?
