Cd burning oblige..?

help me, i'm trying to burn my video mpeg folder to either a dvd-r or dvd-rw disc, to play on my dvd player. however, the dvd player doesn't certify it, but my computer does. so what's up, any help?

your dvd player isn't compatible with the burned format. you want to buy one that will read the format you're burning with. abundantly of newer dvd players will support different formats (and aren't that expensive)
