I have analog cable dike and couple channels through the dish. Im thinking to buy TiVo TCD649080 Series2 but not sure if I can history from the dish channels?? I don’t want to grasp the dish programming, all I want is to preserve the dish decoder working and connect it to Tivo then budge to work. When I come back I want to see what I missed.
Is that possible?
If no, is within any DVR can do this for me?

Yes you can. However, you would be better off upgrading to Dish's DVR service (basically like thing as TiVo). With their DVR you can story 2 programs at one time or watch one while another is video recording. You cannot do that with the TiVo box. Dish's DVR service is roughly speaking half the monthly price as TiVo's service as okay. The Dish DVR is also your tuner so everything is integrated into one box. The TiVo can be difficult and confusing to operate when used with a satellite system.
