Has anyone else near directv have trouble getting their DVR to dictation adjectives upcoming episodes of passion?

The DirecTV DVR is horrible. It does not work nearly as powerfully as a TiVo. I have have one TV with "DirecTV next to TiVo" for a long time and it works great. A few months ago I decided to grasp another one for my other TV. But recently, DirecTV fixed to cut ties with TiVo and they developed their own DVR. So I get the DirecTV DVR. It really is horrible compared to the TiVo one. I have so several problems with it that I stopped using it. I can't even count how heaps problems I've had beside that evil little machine. I own spent hours- literally hours- on the phone with customer service trying to fix the problems. The customer service reps did acknowledge that many customers own a lot of problems beside it, but they wouldn't let me out of my contract. I contracted that once my contract is up in December, I am returning that piece of second-hand goods (good riddance!) and buying a regular TiVo from Best Buy. TiVo often have a $100 rebate so the recorder itself will be almost free, and the monthly fees are the same as what I'm currently paying for the DirecTV DVR.
Try calling customer service and share them your specific problem. There may be a way to fix it, but I doubt it. At the markedly least, DirecTV will know that nearby is yet another individual unhappy beside their product.
