Why is my DVD recorder copy near deafening nouns?

I have a Panasonic DVD recorder + video recorder (combo). Recently the recordings that I net on DVD are turning out to be have rowdy sound when played. If I copy the same programmes on cassette, they are fine. Could a dirty lens affect the quality of demo on a DVD?

Answers:    Could be your discs going bad. That's what happen with cheapo discs.

As an experiment, copy something new, and see if you win the same problem.
