you can try this and see if it help.
Put your box into standby (red power light showing)
continue at least 1 minute to avoid cause damage.
unplug the box from the D,check that all the connections at the reverse are secure and skulk another minute.
plug the box back into the D,the red power light will come on,dawdle another minute and then press your power button.you should hopefully in a minute be able to access your planner etc. If you are still have trouble I would phone Sky + customer service on 08705 800800 all the best John H

You could enjoy a problem with the minor lead that comes into your sky box. We have this problem and believe it or not the cable was stretched too tight. First of adjectives I would check your signals. Go to Sky Services press 6 then 4 and you'll be capable of check strength on both cables. Otherwise ring sky, they'll be capable of talk you through other option
