I have an alba tvd3408, 14" colour tv dvd combi and it's be working fine up until 2 days ago. when i put a dvd in and it say "loading" at the top of the page usually it then changed to "dvd" nearly straight away but immediately it doesnt even say dvd it in a minute takes ages to try and nouns but ends up with "wrong disc" written within the grey bit! its so frustrating because my dvds wont load! can anyone oblige?
Answers: This is why I don't like TV/DVD combos. The DVD drives they use are highly cheap - you'll get better aspect out of those $35 players from Wallmart.
You should make sure the disc is verbs, and has no scratch, but it really sounds like the drive itself is out of alignment, or otherwise broken. I guarantee that it'll cost more to repair than of late buying a new DVD player.
