Connections?
Answers: As you want your video connected to the workstation, I'm assuming you want your videos transfered into a digital format possibly for preserving on your tricky drive or on discs as DVDs or something like that.
Assuming this you would call for to:-
A. Have a video capture card on your PC beside software (which is easy to return with if you don't have any). The invasion card would have come beside the appropriate cables so would enjoy instructions on what to do.
However since your not sure about this I would assume you enjoy a standard PC like adjectives of us with no video appropriation facility so you need to walk for:-
B. Get yourself a converter. Basically its a box the connects to your PC (more likely through USB) and the other bit to your video. Packages typically come with the appropriate software otherwise is slickly obtained. Connect and appropriation video as needed and you have the picking to edit or check out of it as it is.
The only other motivation you would want this connection is to picture your content through your TV in which bag you can view the interconnect the first person that answered you give. Ideally you will have a converter box or your graphics card will enjoy an s-video out connection.
Type into a look into engine vhs to dvd, or video capturing, near is a mass of information thats really good. I can't really recommend one pacific one as they adjectives generally any say impossible to tell apart thing or are reviews of different methods/products which are adjectives valid, so its then your result.
Converter kits cost contained by the UK around lb30 for standard and the more expensive ones are of course better for trait capturing. Try www.videohelp.com they hold good info too. I've used that site lots for different things. But I truly reccommend inquiring for 'vhs to dvd' or 'video capturing' as I was thinking of gettig my video on disc and I got really devout info from the top sites listed. I purely never got round to doing anything because I am moderately lazy!
Good luck.
