PLEASE, How do I journal a spectator sport from a Directv tv culvert to a VCR?

I'm totally messed up with the cable.
PLEASE explain me step by step how to do the connections.

Answers:    I would come up with you would take the cable from the Direct addressee and hook it to the vcr input. Then take the VCR output and hook it to your TV input. As far as the cables, you could be using component or coaxial cable. I think most vcrs use both.
