I requirement to connect a dvd recorder, video recorder, and settop box to a TV set , can you assist me please.?

I have purchased a splitter and connected the dvd and set top box next to it and can get some tv pictures through the recorder but no colour. What are the blue and green jack holes for on the final of the TV. Any help would be appreciated in the past I call a service man.

Answers:    All but the tv will hold a signal input and output, run cable to first device input and from output to next input, closing output goes to tv input.

The jacks on the tv are for audio and video INPUT.

Once you own it hooked up set simply turn on the device(s) you want to use.

Your set top box should be first in chain and your tv last.

You should set your tv to monitor or aux.
red, green, blue jacks are for COMPONENT video
you involve to connect ALL three for the video to work
