Is at hand a Non-"Dish Network" DVR that works next to Dish Network?

Does anyone know if there is a DVR that automatically chronicles shows on Dish Network? Dish Network offers a DVR service but I want to avoid paying a monthly tax. I saw a Pioneer 810H DVR with built-in original Tivo, but I don't know if Tivo's electronic program guide gets satellite channel.


Answers:    Tivo has more of a subscription price, close to 12/mo compared to 2-5 a month from Dish. If you have the top 200 or better next why buy a tivo unit for conceivably $100 bucks when you can get one from dish for just 2 dollars a month.

On February 1st the prices are going up the but the DVR advantage pack are going to stay the same. So, income 2 bucks more if you have the top 200 for a price increase or pay envelope 2 more and get the DVR included. (making the DVR FREE)
