I have a legally new Samsung DVD recorder/VCR combo. I simply came across some elder 4x TDK DVD-R discs new within the pack. When I put them in my recorder to format them to diary on, I get a disc error and inept to format message. Anyone have some clues? I know the discs are unused because the pack be unopened. I have tried more or less 10 discs and all carry that same error message.
Answers: when that occurs on my recorder its most normally a sign that static electricity has built up on my system. my brochure tells me to turn on the system and while it is on to verbs the plug out and let the element sit for a few minutes....than i plug it back within and re-set any options and afterwards try it....good luck
the disc could be dirty (dust, or finger prints)
or
the drive might be set at a lower speed
They could be a impossible batch. But that usually simply happens to no entitle cd's. Try buying new discs.
