What is scart? how do you connect a dvd player next to scart to the tv?

i got a dvd player next to SCART and I don't know how to connect it. does it have a cord to connect the player beside the tv?

PS: this is the first time I've encountered SCART.

SCART is a special audio-video connector developed surrounded by France and later adopt to be a standard. You need a special connector thats roughly resembles a parallel port connector contained by external appearance, but with 2 leading differences
1) The external shape is not exactly rectangle because one of the shorted side is skewed.
2) The pins are not round but flat
