Is it possilble to use my tv cable from cox and connect it to a modem to use the internet? Is it evil?

Answers:    No, it is not likely that will work, and yes, it is wicked to use a piece of equipment to decode and use the cable signal minus permission (your contract, bills paid).
if u enjoy a cable modem yes its possible but first they need to motivate the point u are connecting to. even you connect it u won't be able to use it. result in it is not active.
