Can I run my hi-def cable dvr box through my 8800 GTS card?

I have a Motorola High Def DVR box next to every kind of output believable. I am wondering if I can run it through my EVGA 8800 GTS so I can watch my HD cable through my computer (and 1920x1200 monitor). Would it be possible to run the cable through my computer and be capable of switch back and forth? Thanks!

Answers:    Video cards singular have outputs, but you could plug it into your monitor. Some monitors enjoy multiple inputs and you can just switch between them by a button or menu on the monitor (check the guide if unsure). If your monitor only have one input, you could get a switchbox and plug your computer and DVR into it and next run it through to your monitor.

You can find these pretty easily at an electronics store as economically, among other types. You just own to use the same type of input from the DVR and the PC and to the monitor.
