Tivo--I have just purchased a second Tivo. Can I hook up both Tivos to the same phone line?

Is there some sort of router like you would use for a computer on the internet or some other way to do it ?
Answer: Yes. Go to Radio Shack and buy a "T" phone splitter and two modular cords,(one for each TIVO). Plug the line splitter into the modular phone jack and then the modular cords to each TIVO. The TIVOS place calls to the service provider only when you purchase a program.

yeah, it's only using the phone line once a day to update the program guides. so there should be a way to change the time each one makes it's daily call.

It shouldn't cause any problems as the tivo checks for a dial tone before it calls in

I had two hooked up to the same line before I switched to the Internet.
