What benevolent of dvdr discs do i use on this system?

i got an Aopen isu 8484g exteral dvdr drive. ive be useing 16x memorex dvd-r discs. ive been getting a playback error evertime i burn a dvd-r.
i really necessitate help on this one

First Memorex make the worst DVDs of 12 brands we tested. Get some Verbatim or Sony blanks.

Next go here and be paid sure you have the most modern firmware update - it looks like it is R1.1 - http://usa.aopen.com/download.aspx...

Try a couple and if the problem persist slow down your burn speed to 8X and try it.

Usually slowing down the speed will improve the burn.
