My son-in-law is not competent to story movies on his DVD recorder.?

They are on his computer and he is able to monitor them with window media player. But when he tries to burn them, he get error messages that say the files cannot be conventional. Do you have any suggestions?


Answers:    There are two ways to burn movies

a) In Disc format. You a short time ago copy your files to the disc like everyday files. They can be played only by another PC using WMP.

b) Video format. If they are within DVD-Video format they can be played by any DVD player. You need to convert your wmv or doesn`t matter what format you are using into MPEG files. For that, you need a DVD authoring software.
You call for to rip the copy protection off the movie and after you can burn the movie with a regular burning program. You can try HandBrake but here are a lot out here. Oh it's also illegal to do this say the the movie industry.
