I own a Digifusion FVRT 200 and am drastically pleased with it although a workmate have the Humax and is equally impressed. Noise isn't an issue with any machine.
I merely hear mine when it updates it's EPG at 3:00am. The fan spins up briefly and you hear the tough drive seeking. Apart from that it's silent.
If you are in WHSmiths What HiFi hold their awards issue out for 2007. They cover PVR's and are a trusted source.
