Duplicating a video cassette, how to?

I have 2 VCRs. Can I newly link them by scarts or S Video lead and put one on play and the other on record ?

Answers:    I don't know something like scart lead but i use RCA cable to connect both units. Connect the RCA input onto the copy unit and output to the source part. That's it.
I have done it using scart lead. Your manual should update you the connections.

Seen your additional details. First try googling any of your VCRs, the manufacturer may okay have manual for downloading. Second, you could certainly email any or both of them for instructions as to how to do it. Panasonic, for example, have even sent diagrams for more complex set ups involving digital recivers, satellite, VCR and TV. Third, you could budge ahead and try connecting them yourself by attaching a scart to the output scart socket of the machine you are video recording from, with the other close going into the input scart socket of the machine you are cassette on. The usual advice is to build the connections with everything switched past its sell-by date. However, it might be bestcheck with the manufacture in defence you damage any of your appliances.
