How do you record something on TV and put it on your computer? Cuz i hold a video recorder i dont know how to put it on your computer like tv episodes i have this question forever but it only just hit me now... cuz i record a lot of tv shows

I bought a combination VCR/DVD recorder which allows VHS tape to be recorded onto DVD. The DVD can later be copied onto the computer. I did record some TV shows directly on to DVD aswell.
This combination recorder does authorize anti-piracy and anti-copying technology and won't allow dubbing if the VHS tape or TV signal have it.
Hope this might help you. This is the solely option I could come up next to without some exotic computer programs. I'm interested surrounded by what others have done too. Thanks for asking!!
