Answers: NTSC is the analog television system contained by use in Canada, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, and some other countries, mostly contained by the Americas (see map). It is named for the National Television System Committee[1], the U.S. standardization body that adopt it.
In the 1950s, when the Western European countries were planning to establish colour tube, they were face with the problem that the already existing American NTSC standard wouldn't fit the 50 Hz AC frequency of the European power grids. In increase to that NTSC demonstrated several weaknesses, including colour tone shifting beneath less-than-ideal transmission conditions, for these reason the development of the SECAM and PAL standards begin. The goal be to provide a colour TV standard with a picture frequency of 50 field per second (50 Hertz), and sporting a better colour picture than NTSC.
PAL was developed by Walter Bruch at Telefunken surrounded by Germany. The format was first unveiled contained by 1963, with the first broadcasts genesis in the United Kingdom and Germany contained by 1967.[1]
