Hi i asked almost rejoining a ariel cable on my roof that as be cut?

the wire should be dry ,its on the inside of the glass ,the brown wire looks close to it as only plastic and a copper line going though it, i want to use it with my v+box so i can grasp a dvb signal

Answers:    It is best not to re-join a cut aerial cable. The best channel to do it is to fit what are know as F-plugs to each stop of the cable and join them near a special F-F joiner. Have a look at www.maplin.co.uk to buy them. You could use a TV aerial plug and socket to marry the cable but they might come apart easily.
Incidentally, I don't judge the V+ box will work with a TV in-flight to give dvb. I assume you will need to grasp a Freeview box.
